Hotel Reservations The hotel room block and rate is sold out. For those with reservations, the room block rate is $226.00 a night plus applicable taxes which is the new government per diem for October 2011. As stated in previous communication, the rate was “prevailing” and it would rise from $211 if  the rates from GSA were to increase.

Deposit
A deposit equal to one night's stay is required to hold a reservation. A 72-hour cancellation notice is required prior to your arrival date to receive a refund of your deposit. If you cancel your confirmed reservation less than 72 hours prior to your arrival date, including reservations made within 3 days of your arrival, you will be charged the 1st night's room rate and tax.

Early Departure
An early departure fee of $75.00 will be charged if a guest reserves a room and checks out prior to the reserved checkout date. Guests wishing to avoid this fee must advise the hotel at or before check-in of any change in the scheduled length of stay.

Check-in, Check-out
Check-in time is 3 p.m. and check-out time is 12:00 p m. Any departures after 12:00 p.m. are subject to the full day charge.

Parking

$7.00 per day for attendees, our negotiated rate for in and out daily. Tell the parking garage attendee you are with the 2011 NASA Carbon Cycle Meeting.

Purchase pre-paid parking tickets at lunch Monday-Thursday for $7 cash ONLY near the meeting registration desk on the lower level to avoid long check out lines. Credit cards can only be used to pay at the Parking Attendant station.

Metro stop at the Pentagon (not Pentagon City) has new direct  Metrobus to the Mark Center Transit stop at the Hilton Mark Center Hotel. Free if you have a government badge.
