The North American Forest Dynamics (NAFD) project was designed to provide statistically valid national estimates of forest disturbance and regrowth for the coterminous United States. Upon review of the NAFD results on disturbance rates for each sample locations, local and regional patterns emerge. This poster illustrates these observed spatial and temporal patterns of forest dynamics.
