ASCENDS Workshop

This workshop was held after the 11th International Workshop on Greenhouse Gas Measurements from Space at California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, California, USA, Friday, June 19th.

Workshop Objectives:

The NASA ASCENDS Mission Science Definition Team has been conducting a set of coordinated activities to better define and develop requirements for the ASCENDS Mission. Past Meetings include:

2013 Formulation Team Meeting 2012 Science Working Group Meeting 2011 Performance Modeling Workshop 2008 Community Workshop

The work to date has been summarized in an ASCENDS Mission White paper that was released to the community on April 23, 2015. The Executive Summary is available here.

The objective of this workshop was to discuss the work summarized in the white paper with the carbon cycle science and space-based greenhouse gas remote sensing communities.
