Group name NASA Carbon Cycle Workshop

A block of rooms has been reserved at the University of Maryland Inn and Conference Center at the government per diem rate of $194 single/double plus tax per night from April 27 – May 3. The group rate is available through Tuesday, April 15, 2008 or until the reservation block is full. The reservation block is under NASA Carbon Cycle Workshop. If you do not make your reservations by April 15, you will not be guaranteed the group rate and will be offered the best available rate on a space-available basis. Rates for attendees who fail to make their reservation within the group reservation block cannot be changed at check-in or check-out.

Check in time is 3:00 p.m. and Check out time is 12:00 p.m.

A major credit card must be used to guarantee your reservation. To cancel a reservation, you must contact the hotel directly by 6:00 pm Eastern Time.

BY PHONE: Reservations for your room can be made by contacting the UMUC Inn and Conference Center by Marriott at 301-985-7300 or 1-800-228-9290 and ask to speak with Reservations. When connected, please notify the reservation agent that you are part of NASA Carbon Cycle Workshop , your arrival date, how many nights you intend to stay, and your preferred room type (ex. one queen bed, or if you plan to share your room, two queen beds). This will help to ensure prompt and accurate assistance.

NOTE: If you intend to arrive prior to April 27, 2008, or stay beyond the night of May 3, 2008, you will be asked to reserve a room outside of the room block for those nights only and will be offered the group rate for April 27 through May 3, 2006.

PARKING

Parking is free for overnight guests and daily attendees. Tell the attendant at the parking garage booth as you exit that you are with the NASA Carbon Cycle Workshop.

MEALS

Continental Breakfast, Mid-Morning Coffee, Lunch and Afternoon Break will be available each day.
